About Good Grocery

What is this?

Good Grocery is a side-by-side price comparison tool for Bay Area Indian grocery stores. We currently focus on the East Bay (San Ramon, Pleasanton, and Dublin) — tracking prices at ICC Indian Market and SVG Indian Market so you can instantly see where each product is cheapest.

More stores and areas coming soon.

How does it work?

Prices are collected periodically and matched using a fuzzy-matching algorithm that compares product names, weights, and categories. Each match gets a confidence score — only high-confidence matches are shown. If you spot a bad match, use the ⚐ Flag button on any row.

Price-per-pound is calculated where product weight is available, giving a more accurate comparison for items sold in different package sizes.
