About Good Grocery
What is this?
Good Grocery is a side-by-side price comparison tool for Bay Area Indian grocery stores. We track prices at ICC Indian Market and SVG Superstore — two of the most popular Indian grocery stores in the South Bay — so you can instantly see where each product is cheaper.
How does it work?
Prices are collected periodically and matched using a fuzzy-matching algorithm that compares product names, weights, and categories. Each match gets a confidence score — only high-confidence matches are shown. If you spot a bad match, use the ⚐ Flag button on any row.
Price-per-pound is calculated where product weight is available, giving a more accurate comparison for items sold in different package sizes.
Categories covered
